A very warm welcome to Wroot Travis Charity Church of England Primary School
Be bold, be strong, for the Lord your God is with you!
(Joshua 1.9)
We serve the rural community of Wroot within the historic Isle of Axholme on the North Lincolnshire border.
We are a small, happy Church of England School, within the Diocese of Lincoln. With just 37 pupils, we pride ourselves on our caring family ethos, dedicated staff, strong moral purpose and distinctive Christian nature.
'This is a school where pupils feel emotionally and physically safe. A warm and caring ethos surrounds pupils who attend this school. They relish being part of this supportive school family...' Ofsted 2023
We are also proud to be part of
The Belton - Wroot Primary School Federation
At Wroot Travis Charity C of E Primary School we seek to provide a friendly, happy and hardworking environment. Respect for others, positive attitudes towards work and behaviour are fostered and nurtured. Wroot Travis Charity is a school where all are valued and where we work hard to help every pupil reach their full potential. The school provides a bright, stimulating environment and pupils respond well to our positive, caring Christian ethos. In 2019 we federated with Belton All Saints Church of England Primary School, also within the Isle of Axholme, forming The Belton - Wroot Federation.
Governors are committed to supporting the school and work alongisde the Executve Head Teacher and staff to support and drive school improvements. We are proud of the achievements of our pupils, the school, and it's place within the wider community, having strong links with St Pancras Church and other community groups.
