All pupils in the Reception Class and KS1 are now entitled to free healthy hot school meals (Universal Free School Meals) and will have access to a choice of main dishes each day.

However it is still important to apply for Free School Meal grants if you believe you are eligible. This will entitle you to additional clothing benefits and the school will also receive Pupil Premium Funding to support your child’s learning.

Who qualifies?

  • The guarantee element of Pension Credit
  • Working Tax Credit run-on (paid for the four weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)
  • Child Tax Credit (with no Working Tax Credit) with an annual income of no more than £16,190
